The National Health Education, Information and Communication Center(NHEICC) is responsible for turning out with,Implementing, monitoring and evaluating awareness raising,information,education and communication program with related to health care programmers and services.NHEICC is under the Ministry of Health and Population(MoHP).The health education,any Games  and communication section in the regional directorates and regional training and health data section in DHOs/DPHOs implement IEC/BCC activities victimization varied media and strategies supported native desires.Local media and languages ar used in districts to circularize health messages.

Background

In 1991, Ministry of about Health Care and Population had formulated new health policy. Following this policy, National Health Care center with Education, information and Communication Centre (NHEICC) was established below the Ministry of Health and  mandate to support for health promotion, education and communication So, NHEICC is under the direct management of MoHP.Similarly,Policy, 2012? is the milestone

for health promotion, education and  priority of government to health promotion, education for coming up with, implementation, monitoring and analysis of all health services and program under the ministry  produced and disseminated by different organizations. Developing, producing And dissemination messages and materials to promote and support health programs and services in an integrated manner is a component of the responsibility. For this purpose, all of the districts have Health education, information .
 The health education and communication section within the regional health directorates and training and health data section in the district Health/Public Health Offices implement health promotion, education and various media and strategies according to the wants of the native folks within the district. Local media and languages Ar used in the district for  folks will perceive health messages clearly in their native contexts.

Goal

The goal relativist of the  program is to contribute to attaining to the national health Care programmable goals and objectives by providing support for all national health services and programmers

Objectives

The general objective of National Health Care  Education, information and Communication program is to raise with the health Care awareness of the folks as a way to market improved health standing and to

  prevent illness through the efforts of the folks themselves and through full utilization of accessible resources and the specific objectives of the IEC/B CC:
    To increase knowledge, improve skills and promote desired behavior change on EH CS and on the far side
 To create a requirement for quality EH CS among all castes and ethnic teams, and disadvantaged or, difficult -to-reach populations
    To advocate for required resources (human and financial) and capability development for effective communication programmers and interventions to come through the NSHP-2 goals
    To increase access with the new information and technology on health programmers
    To raise awareness among the general  communicable and Non-communicable Diseases then encourage all to hunt preventive measures
    To the intensify and strengthen action against tobacco use, both smoke-dried and smoke-free, excessive use of alcohol, unhealthy diets information and  to communication needs throughout emergency you have to things.
