Nepal Mental Health Foundation

The Marykoll Nepal was established in 1991 to give treatment and rehabilitate within their family and society to the unsound folks that had been fast in the jail as a criminal in Central Jail of national capital and Dhulikhel. It admits the affected patients. The patients have to buy the drugs by themselves. But for meager patients of the medicine is distributed with freed from price.

It has three branches in Chandol  and Bhaktapur-Katunje (Daycare Center)

The day care, Each day care center will accommodate regarding twenty patients. At present, there are centers in Chandol-Kathmandu and Bhaktapur- Katunje. Each unit has also medical personnel and one social employee trained in psychological medicine.

CVICT was established in 1990, registered as nonprofit and non-government organization in Nepal. Since its formation, its efforts have centred on the rehabilitation of torture victims as well because the prevention of torture.

CVICT has diligently rehabilitated victims of torture in Nepal over the last twenty years. Its emphasis on psychosocial services on with medical treatment helps victims, as well as their families, return to traditional life.

CVICT's goals are to restore human dignity, end exemption, to work towards eradicating torture from Nepal. For people suffering from consequences of torture and different varieties of organized violence it provides holistic services to handle an individual's physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being, and help restore the social material in the family and community.

In addition, CVICT activities attempt to forestall torture and different human rights abuses or varieties of organized violence. These activities include support, legal aid, fact and networking with line agencies, including with national and international communities.
